Situated in the heart of Europe's most southern flying sites, with more all year round thermal activity than any other European flying sites. From the local training slope and coastal sites to 3,500 metres inland mountains, this region provides everything for the beginner to the advanced XC pilot.

Almuñécar marks the region where the Sierra Nevada meets the coast. Our visiting pilots have experienced 7 metres per second thermals in early November, and cloud base at 3,500 metres. For the more advanced, there are massive triangle opportunities, for the novice the chance for that first XC experience. One hour away, the city of Granada is at the base of several PWC sites with huge thermal generators during the summer months & large easy take-off & landing sites for beginners for out of season winter flying.
